| This has been a project in talks for a few years now. But it's finally finished and he's back. He had froze up one of his stock turbos and had been driving NA style for a while. The plan was for me to rebuild my old engine and sell it to him. Between moving to a new house and other customers and my own TT it got pushed out. Like I mentioned I was selling him my old TT engine that I threw a rod bearing on at the track. I just built another engine for myself with all the spare parts I have so the whole thing was pretty much sitting there. I got another crank and took the old short block and heads in to get refreshed. Then I got down to putting it all back together. JE pistons and Eagle rods.
 Long block with the 120k done, new studs, oil pump, etc.
 Did a little powdercoating for him. Red and chrome.
 
Putting it all together New alt, for motor mounts, 615 injectors.
 Gave the timing belt covers a coat of paint.
 Plenum, water pipes and CAS were painted using some graphite paint. Turned out really nice.
 
PCV reroute and coolant lines. He also upgraded to some JWT 535 turbos.
 Cleaned up the engine bay. New wiring harness and added the powdercoated stuff. Before:

So far things are good. I still have the car as I wanted to do the 1st couple of oil changes and start breaking the motor in. I have a slight oil leak that's coming from the oil filter area, should be easy to fix. And we are waiting for his ecu to come back from JWT. Other than that no real problems so far. Drives and runs great. I know he's anxious to get it back...just in time for winter :).
